This 1200-square foot, two-bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side was stripped back to the bones. Walls were removed and relocated, plaster was replaced, floors were restored, both bathrooms and the kitchen were removed and relocated. Some of the more challenging activities included replicating 24” deep plaster crown moldings from wood and rebuilding some damaged Celtic-corner knots for the wooden floor. The master bath features a steam room in tumbled travertine.
